and the engraver.

Reverse of the 10,000 Lira coin: The composition depicts the ship used by Amerigo Vespucci in his travels with, on the left, an image of the navigator. At the top are the legends AMERIGO VESPUCCI / LIRE / 10000, at the bottom is the name of the author of the sketch and the engraver.

Outline: On the edge of the 5,000 L. coin is the legend RELINQUO VOS

LIBEROS, on that of the 10,000 Lira coin, there is a discontinuous knurling in relief.
