The Montblanc 1858 Iced Sea Automatic Date is Montblanc's first sports dive watch, inspired by the Mer de Glace, Mont Blanc's main glacier. The blue dial with “glacier” motif is obtained using an ancestral technique called gratté-boisé, while the unidirectional ceramic bezel and engraved case back make it compliant with ISO 6425.
