“Once upon a time…” The Montblanc Writers Edition Homage to Brothers Grimm is dedicated to Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm and celebrates their work in collecting and reworking German and European popular fairy tales, among which we remember some of the most famous such as “Snow White”, “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty”. The overall silhouette of the writing instrument takes the shape of an ancient mountain stick. Made of metal with a special antique coating, this edition draws inspiration from the fairy tale "Sleeping Beauty", as revealed by the leaves and thorns around the hood and body. The cap is crowned with the Montblanc emblem in fine mother-of-pearl. When rotated, the platinum-coated clip, inspired by a knotty piece of wood, surprisingly reveals the profile silhouette of the Brothers Grimm. To pay homage to the magic of storytelling, the handmade bi-colour rhodium-finish Au 750 solid gold nib is imprinted with the design of the flames of a hearth, a place around which popular fairy tales were often told and handed down.
