The Meisterstück Around the World in 80 Days collection is inspired by Jules Verne's famous adventure novels. Made of fine anthracite resin, the Classic Fountain Pen traces its second journey from Bombay to Yokohama. The heroes travel this part of the adventure on majestic elephants, whose figures are cartouches on their hoods. The clip features a red lacquered diamond playing card, while the rump is engraved with patterns inspired by Princess Aouda's jewels and playing cards, featuring the bet that Mr. Fogg has completed his 80-day journey. The number of days of the journey is imprinted on the top of the cap, 25 days from Bombay to Yokohama, for a total of 80 days. The hand-finished 14K gold nib is decorated with hot air balloons marked 20/10 and 14/11, but Mr. Fogg left Bombay on October 20th at 8pm for Yokohama, while we left at 6pm on November 14th.
