Montblanc fountain pen Classique Meisterstück Around the World in 80 Days tip F

The Meisterstück Around the World in 80 Days collection is inspired by Jules Verne's famous adventure novel “Around the World in 80 Days”. The Classique fountain pen in precious anthracite resin draws inspiration from the second leg of the journey, from Bombay to Yokohama. In this second adventurous stage, the protagonists travel on a majestic elephant, which appears in a cartouche on the hood. The clip features a red lacquered ace of diamonds, symbolizing card games and gambling, and the cone is engraved with a motif inspired by Princess Auda's jewels and card suits. The top of the cap features embossing of the duration of the journey, 25 days from Bombay to Yokohama and 80 days in total. The writing instrument is completed by a handmade 18K gold nib, decorated with a hot air balloon and with the dates 20/10 and 14/11: Fogg leaves Bombay on 20 October at 8pm and Yokohama on 14 November at 6pm.
