The Meisterstück Around the World in 80 Days collection is inspired by Jules Verne's famous adventure novel “Around the World in 80 Days”. The Doué Classique rollerball with gold-finish metal cap and dégradé anthracite lacquer body draws inspiration from the second leg of the journey, from Bombay to Yokohama. In this second adventurous stage, the protagonists travel on a majestic elephant, which appears in a cartouche on the hood. The gold-finish metal cap bears an engraved pattern that symbolizes luck. The clip features a red lacquered Ace of Diamonds and the cone is engraved with a pattern and card suits, representing Fogg's bet to make the journey in 80 days. The top of the cap features embossing of the duration of the journey, 25 days from Bombay to Yokohama and 80 days in total.
