The Meisterstück Around the World in 80 Days collection is inspired by the famous adventure novel by Jules Verne. The Classique fountain pen in precious blue resin represents the first part of the journey. The protagonists travel on a steamship from London to Bombay, crossing the Mediterranean Sea and the Suez Canal. The cap features iconic elements from the novel: sea waves, card suits and a cartridge with a laser-engraved design of a steamship. The top of the cap features embossing of the duration of the voyage, 18 days from London to Bombay and 80 days in total. The writing instrument is completed by a handmade nib in 14K gold with a rhodium finish, decorated with a hot air balloon and the start and end dates of the adventurous journey.
