TCM Terra Cielo Mare Fiat Football Chronograph watch limited edition 150 pieces TC1920FBAC3PAR

Creativity and ideas are certainly not lacking in the TCM brand, conceived and launched by the Milanese company LA.FO.CE. And so it was also for the latest addition, Fiat Football 1920. Its genesis is truly singular, being inspired by the "game of football", whose success, in the early 1900s, arrived in Italy from London, the homeland of football, and specifically in Turin, where the Fiat workers also, in 1919, under the aegis of USOF (Fiat Workers' Sports Union), gave life to their team. This chronograph is dedicated to that team, a breeding ground for future champions, and to all athletes. Note the minute counter, calibrated to 45 minutes rather than the canonical 60, and the carrée galbée steel case, inspired by stylistic features of the 1920s; the automatic mechanical movement used is modified in the chronograph module precisely to allow the measurement of minutes in 45 units. This peculiarity is reiterated by the "45", in red, deliberately oversized, in the dial at 9. The reference to the 1920s also appears in the lettering of the dial, while the Dauphine spheres give a dynamic appearance to the whole. The dial, then, reveals a further small detail that links this watch to football: the external graduated scale is complete up to the forty-fifth minute, then the minutes for any extra time are indicated, from 1 to 15. The movement decorated with blue screws and Côtes de Genève, is visible through the visible caseback where the Fiat logo from the 1920s is silk-screened on the inside of the glass. Produced in a numbered series limited to 300 pieces, it will be available in two versions: 150 with a silver dial and red external minute track and 150 with a yellow band that highlights the minute track up to the 45th minute.
