Designed by Marc Newson, Montblanc M expresses the modernity of today and the timeless elegance of the future. The fluid lines of this writing instrument in fine sandblasted black resin delicately intertwine with each other. A touch of orange stands out on the front, a tribute to Marc Newson's unmistakable color. Furthermore, an innovative magnetic cap closure mechanism automatically aligns the cap with the Montblanc emblem inlaid into the “plateau” of the writing instrument. The plateau includes an extra magnet on which to place the cap while writing.
