The Montblanc Donation Pen collection pays homage to the most famous classical musicians of the past. The Donation Pen supports carefully selected cultural projects by pioneering artists from all over the world, donating 20 euros for the purchase of each fountain pen and 10 euros for the purchase of each ballpoint or rollerball pen. This year's edition pays homage to George Gershwin, American composer and pianist. The clip is in the shape of a clarinet: a tribute to the overture of Gerswhin's "Rhapsody in Blue", played by a clarinet. A further homage to the "Rhapsody in Blue" is the blue ink level window. The cap ring is decorated with the image of the Brooklyn Bridge, symbolizing George Gershwin's close connection to his hometown. The body and cap are made of precious black resin with platinum finish details. The special gift box also contains three prints of the Brooklyn Bridge.
